Earlier today, we announced the immediate availability of the 2nd update for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7. In addition to the latest performance and stability improvements (what we used to call "Service packs" a few versions back) that are available to anyone with a free Standard Membership, X7.2 will provide early access to new features for Premium Members and Subscribers. The top three new features included in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 Update 2 are:

• Powerful node editing: You can now select adjacent nodes on your curves, including multi-selection in CorelDRAW. You can also copy or cut specific parts of curve segments, making it a breeze to extract sub-paths or create new adjacent shapes with similar contours.
• Versatile Healing Clone tool: This new Corel PHOTO-PAINT tool lets you seamlessly fix imperfections by painting with sampled texture that matches the color of the surrounding area - perfect to remove a blemish, scar or unwanted spot... check out the before (left) & after (right) example below
• Flexible Prep and Stretch docker: This new Corel PHOTO-PAINT docker lets you prepare your photos and images for canvas printing in three easy steps, enabling you to achieve the perfect composition for your wall art.

Other additions to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 with Update 2 include the capability to hide and display objects in CorelDRAW (beyond layers), more control over the colors of the UI and the capability to open documents in floating windows in Corel PHOTO-PAINT.

You can get Update 2 from within CorelDRAW by going to the Help menu and selecting "Updates...". Alternatively, you can download the latest Update from your local http://www.CorelDRAW.com web site. Once updated, your CorelDRAW / Corel PHOTO-PAINT version number will be 17.2.0.688.
