    Thanks for your comments guys.

    The golden metal is a combination of gradient fills with a blur effect added in Photopaint along with some lighting effects.

    My new favourite effect in PP has to be the Lens flare...with some tweaks and along with other effects...it can be great for simulating good lighting,
