Last month my husband and I were coming home from an evening drive and a
Great Horned owl flew out of the darkening sky and into a distant pine
tree.
I tried for a photo but was too slow.
The owl moved on and I had another attempt but it was noticeably darker and I saw in the preview that it was blurred.
The
owl moved off again always heading toward the north-west and it kept
getting darker. I tried a few more shots after the owl landed a third
time but a hand-held camera is just no match for less than twilight
skies.
All the shots were blurry but I chose the best one to vector
and this is more or less an accurate silhouette although the sky has
been glorified.
