Every bit started as vectors right in Corel, nothing external. Lots of vector to bitmap transformation, effects, trancparencies, gradient meshes etc.  The jet was actually a hurried last minute change, we had a cool big chinook chopper at first that was pretty cool.

    Still one of my favorite pieces. Every part of this is/was pure vector. The water ripples began as one of the basic fills. The splash was all random vectoring. The sky. Everything 100% Corel Draw. Amazing the power that Corel Draw has for rasterizing vectors and the amount of tools you have after that. I use it every day. I always jab my friends that Corel Draw is everything Illustrator is and wishes it was plus about half of Photo shop all rolled up into one easy and fun to use program. Especially when I hear them cursing Illustrator for always crashing on them :-P
