Adrian,
Smart Fill method is more convenient and faster. However, the steps that I described was the way I used. I do not remember when I did this - long time ago (I think even back then there was not the Smart fill resource). Your tip was great. So, Physrevenue got now other alternative.
Nice Silvio, There's another way of achieving this. You can have the text with outlines only, no fill and use the Smart Fill tool to fill the overlapping areas.
Hi Physrevenue, follow the steps:
1. Type your text, select it and press Ctrl+K (to Break apart) and convert to curves (Ctrl+Q).
2. Hold down Ctrl key, select letter individually and left click to drag it to position you wish.
3. Select both letters that are overlapped. Go to: ARRANGE > SHAPING > INTERSECT.
4. Fill intersection with a different colour. (bring intersection up: Shift+Page up).
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to others letters.
Ps.: You can also use this system to other vector objects.
Enjoy it!
I like this; how do I made one like this using my letters: I am new to corel
i liked the colour scheme & colour arrangement of intersected portions of letters.
