I was asked at the last minute to participate in behalf of the center where I was teaching in an expo catered to teens, hoping this would generate enough interest in enrolling in our design classes. What I hadn't expected was that this was a cosplay (costume-playing) event and it was mostly geared toward anime enthusiasts.
Since this was our center's first time to participate in such an event, we hadn't expected to find other computer and design centers having larger booths and exhibits. The best we could do was do an on-the-spot demo of one of our classes (in this case, it was CorelDRAW). Above is one of several drawings I've done in the few hours I spent drawing in our booth. Not enough teens were that interested in enrolling in any of our classes but it did generate enough interest in using CorelDRAW as most weren't aware of CorelDRAW's potential.
