Corel Font Manager 2018 will not recognize Certain Font Folders. When I open myWIndows FIle managere the folders with a font overlay in the icon are the folders the do not whow up in Font Manager. Why is this. See attached JPG screen cap. "fonts", "Fonts from Rudy" and hte "Fonts Old" folders are not visible and are marked with an "A" on the folder icon in WINdows 10 file manager.
Have you added these folders in Font Manager?
For instructions see Help -> Organising Fonts -> To add a folder
Of course, but the font folders with the little "A" on the folder Icon as seen in Windows FIle Manager do not even show up in the list when I try to add those folders in Corel Font Mangler. Plese see attached screen cap of "Add Folder" as seen in Corel Draw 10 Font Mangler..
Curious.
Have you tried resetting FM by holding down F8 when you start it (backup C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018\Databases and C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Databases first)
A bit of Googling suggests that the A indicates a system font folder - and I think there should only be 1 of them.
What happens if you move the Oldfonts and Fontsfrom rudy to another drive?
If they have fonts in them, can you install these fonts in Windows?
