... in my opinion name of colours under bullets in Colour spectrum settings are not correct.
Now they are: R/Y/G/C/B/M
but I think they should be:
Cyan/Blue/Magenta/Green/Yellow/Red
If I use it like this, Selective colour adjustment work like Adobe Photoshop Selective Colour ...
Where I make mistake... Look example... when I decrease Cyan in "Yellow" my sky become pink ... without cyan... but sky is not yellow, sky is blue... so I think that my colour order is correct ...
C/B/M/G/Y/R
or
B/C/G/Y/R/M
its even better ...
IMPORTANT: When working with RGB image, Selective colour work O.K.... problem is when working with CMYK image !!!!
I never have used to tool but I did since you mentioned it. IMO it need to be removed anything it does it does poorly and the tone curve does it correctly.
Thank you David... Selective colour is great and easy to use tool... in RGB mode work perfect ... but in CMYK mode ... it is necessary to switch Red and Blue, and Yellow and Cyan in Colour spectrum ... and then it works as it should. I think Corel Photo-Paint developers must do that in next update.... .. ... Does anybody know how to conntact them and submit this.
I'm with you on the RGB mode being a better fit just not happy with the tool overall. In CMYK it seems that it's too selective and you get unexpected results. This might be a very old tool Corel placed in the application during the RGB only days. I prefer the result with the tone curve.
