I have read the manual; I have watched I don't know how many videos, and still I cannot REMOVE OBJECT. I have tried every darn button available and still I just can't do it.
Example: You have a beautiful picture of a street but there is a darn stop sign right in the middle of the picture. I am sure that for some people removing the stop sign is a walk in the park but not for me.
Would someone, please, give this old geezer a few hints. I realise you are not here to do my homework but I think this is exactly what I need for this objective: spoon-feeding. I can do just about anything else but not REMOVE OBJECT.
Thank you, one and all, in advance.
Hi Tony,
It's easy to do in either PaintshopPro or Photoshop, You can buy older versions of these programs for less than $10 on ebay. This took about five minutes on Photoshop CS 5.
Here is the original
Here is the end result, about five minutes
Hi David. This is pretty much exactly what I want to do. I have a scenery pic but someone's shadow in it. I just want to remove the shadow. Can you please explain in laymans terms. I haven't used Photopaint for a long time and have forgotten most of what I knew.
I believe with this one all I did with this was to draw a mask around some of the bricks and copy and past them in over the shadow.
I may have created a transparent layer object, cut out the shadow area with a mask, removed the mask, draw a mask around some of the bricks and paste them in from behind. I can't remember.
