Hello there, I'm using CD2018 and have some macros to work faster. But suddenly my macros "disappeared" from CorelDRAW. The gms files are still @ their location "C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018\Draw\GMS" but when I click to execute a macro, there's an empty list... and my shortcuts don't do anything when clicked... What's wrong with Corel?
In the Macro Manager, do you see "Visual Basic for Applications" available?
Some recent discussion here: folder location for gms macros in CorelDraw 2018.
So, here it is: Visual Basic IS there, but there's a "error" icon under it.. if I try to load (my Corel is in PT-BR) any .gms it gives me an error that was not possible to load the file... The files aren't corrupted since I've already use a copied version from backup folder. If I click to Execute a Macro, the droplist is empty...
Already tried to recover Corel installation, re-installed Update 1... but NOTHING! The .gms are in the correct folder, but Corel can't recognize neither open....
What can be done? Please help!
No1 can help?
That particular problem is one that I do not have any personal experience with. If I make a suggestion, it would not be something that I know. It would just be a guess.
I don't know if it would make any difference, but you could try copying your macros to your "user" AppData folder for CorelDRAW.
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018\Draw\GMS
That is just something to try to see if it makes a difference.
Hi there Eskimo! Thanks for your help. About the folder... even though new versions of Corel don't use the "user" folder anymore, they use the Program Files folder instead (don't know why, but Corel is weird) I've already tried that... but without any changes....
maybe?

I thought it was just the opposite. Used to be in the program folder but now uses the user folder. If one (gms folder) isn't already there you have to make one.
What happens if you right-click on "Visual Basic for Application" and choose "New Macro Project..."?
Already delayed and nothing changed...
OMG I can't say how much I'm in hate with Corel... uninstalled CorelDRAW 2018... removed all folders, cleaned with CCleaner... made a NEW installation, with new directory (C:\Corel instead C:\Program Files\Corel) and now NOTHING work...
I'm almost giving up....

Edit: Uninstalled everything again, reverted CCleaner regedit options, reinstalled Corel from scratch... no gms files on Corel folders... and NOTHING! F*CK YOU COREL!

Asks me where to save the file... then gives me an error saying it can't load the file project
