Because Corel does not fix many bugs for years I've started doing videos on youtube hoping to encourage Corel to finally LISTEN before the rest of the professional planet will shift to Adobe.
Latest posted videos are:
White gap created around exported file:

and
Bitmap shift inside containers when exporting to PDF.

How can I use corel draw in professional printing environment if those two 'LITTLE PROBLEMS' are causing massive issue for any print professional using Corel Draw.
Dear Corel, please understand this is for your benefit!
Is there are issue reporting page? Is there a KNOWN ISSUES page? NO! How does Corel bugfixing process actually work?THey don't listen to tickets and certainly not to I guess official forums like this one.
In recent chat when I was explaining to the volume license representative the bugs ar enot sorted in X8 and 2018 version I got a question if I want to upgrade? NO, I DON'T WANT TO UPGRADE TO A PIECE OF SOFTWARE THAT IS NOT IMPROVING MY PROBLEMS. Ring me when you fix them then we can chat about upgrading all computers to latest Corel Draw. As then i will stop losing money on print large format items that don't match together and need reprinting and avoiding basic PDF format.
FYI, when publishing to PDF with the "Selection" setting enabled, there is a 0.35 mm border added around the objects. Not sure why but it is as designed (and most likely for a reason) and not a bug.If you want the page to be an exact size, set the page size in Draw first and then export with "Current Page" setting enabled instead. When you publish a Powerclip to PDF, the clip has to be converted to a new bitmap since PDF doesn't support Draw's powerclips. The conversion may cause a slight pixel shift because the clip container is a vector object and it doesn't always match the pixel grid of the bitmap inside. So Draw converts the bitmap and then masks off edges that are not full pixels.I seriously doubt that this small drift could be a problem when doing a 2.5 meter large format print.IF you want every pixel to be in exactly the right place, you must probably work in Pixels mode, then make sure the bitmap pixels fit to the pixel grid, then Crop the bitmap to the exact number of whole pixels, then publish.

Come on man, do you actually read yourself. I love Corel Draw as you do, no reason to defend bugs (confirmed by Corel staff) without arguments.
If there is no reason for white spaces around then it should not be there, no other software does it. Setting up page size each time hoping for corel to chop the artwork to its size would be a nightmare as one of the main reason I like and we use Corel Draw is the open space that can accommodate big projects with different large size panels in one view. And in case someone says that the tiny space around each pdf doesn't matter, and can't cause a problem then well... Try to print hundreds of copies exported from Corel and printed as straight flush layout panels only to discover there is a small double line or double cut line between the copies which mean double cut or sometimes re-print as trimming off a tiny gap like this is difficult, even if you wanted rectify it.

If it was a pixel I wouldn't bother contacting support, writing posts and making videos. This comes with long gathering frustration and big losses. Maybe my example only shows tiny shift but it is bigger in different situations (probably when the bitmap inside is stretched slightly, not sure). It was often 4mm shift when my employees where splitting large display systems, which is enough for the client to reject, because the letters are not matching.
1 - One little question: are you using "Object hinting" enabled on both situations?
2 - Could you please attach (or send me to ariel.garaza@gmail.com) any file sample to test it?
1) We don't use object hinting, I guess it is something for people working with pixels oriented jobs.
2) I can send any file sample you want for both example but both of the above issues simply ARE THERE so anyone can see it with any file.
I don't deny the problem, I just wonder if the issue could be relative to object hinting because it cause the same "effects/defects" (image displacement and white border)
