There doesn't seem to be a pattern or a particular type of file I am working on, but I've been having this issue lately. I will be working on a file, and just suddenly Coreldraw is gone! It just shuts down. Doesn't give an error message or anything. When I start the program up again, it will say it found a backup file (or more than 1) do I want to open it? and of course, unless I've recently saved it, I will have lost most of my work. I just don't know why it is shutting down. Any insight??
Have seen it too, more than once, but have so far not been able to find out why. Sorry.
Any recent windows updates? I have found that the first launch of CorelDRAW after some windows updates can be hinky. After a system reboot no problems even if Windows does not request a restart. My routine has me checking updates first thing every day, if it's anything other then just a virus definition I reboot.
Yes there have been a couple Windows updates - I will try the reboot, thanks.
Nope, still happens once in awhile.
We get this quite frequently too. Corel just vanishes in an instant. No error message, no freeze. Just one minute Corel is there working, the next it's not. We have as yet been unable to spot any pattern to when and why it happens.
