no shortcuts
its true
its a wonder i will say
only needs corel to understand my stirve for this 5 years work on
sir you are using the corels workspace and i am using my workspace which it has not toolset, no menus, no shortcuts. this is something unique sir
Its been years that all the users using the same workspace. I would say mine is advanced. the present one that is existed as default is standard one.
Is that supposed to allow faster work than using menus and shortcuts? It looks like it would force me to use the mouse a lot more and that would slow me down.
That's not Corel's workspace. It's my custom workspace. Works for my needs.
KuttyJoe, I use a lot of macro icon so I don't have to remember keyboard shortcuts. But I have customized many keyboard shortcuts to meet my "other needs" and use those a lot too. And yes, it can make REALLY FAST work. Like putting racing stripes on your car! lol
Point is I agree, in part, with the OP. The default workspace is what makes Corel seem dated. Most experienced user dump a lot of those common icons that we already know the shortcuts for. The number one default annoyance, imo, is the Treat All Objects As Filled. Although useful in its own right, I expect If I draw a shape and do not fill it then it's only logical that you can't click inside it to select it. And if you don't know copy/paste, or undo you needn't be messing with any software to begin with. The beauty of Corel is how extensive you can customize the workspace. Although you can do the same with the leading competitor it is still not to the same extent as Corel. i.e. One can only assign "F" keys as shortcuts
