When I try to spellcheck something in CorelDraw 2018, I get an error message that says No Writing tools have been installed. I installed everything and even did a install repair. Any suggestions
I have the same problem with Corel Designer 2018 and Coreldraw 2018
Hi Bob,
After reaching out to Corel support and getting a page of information that was of no use, I decided to remove the program completely and re install it. The re install fixed my problem. I guess some glitch in the initial install went haywire???
Thanks
I've got two tickets with corel and am getting no where with them. I have several plugins and macros installed and was hoping that it didn't have to come to a reinstall but that looks like the road I will have to take. Find and Replace for dimension lines doesn't work with this version; what the font doesn't work; when I zoom way in snapping doesn't work correctly; extrude tool copy doesn't work properly........buggy as hell.....
No Prob
Yeah i have also had a huge problem with the what the font. Believe it or not i downloaded the app on my phone and it actually works 100 times better with screen shots on the phone of my monitor than the one in the program.
This is one of the responses that I received.
Regarding the Search for dimensions in "Find", I have checked that with the development team and they are considering to remove that feature as this feature doesn't work since CDGSX6 as a result of a change in the program. Regards, Simone Corel Customer Support Services
What the Font........received this one
Hello Bob. The issue with WhatTheFont has been already logged. Unfortunately, it can't be solved in the current version as there were made changes in the background by that third-party company. I have added you to the group that has reported that WhatTheFont issue. Sincerely, Simone Corel Customer Support Services
Seems like they don't want to fix their software until you pay for the next version (upgrade)
You should see the reply that I got about how I was using copy/paste incorrectly!
Sadly you are correct. I have NEVER received any form of useful help from corel support dating back to when I started using it in 2011. Fortunately there is this site and several times I have had folks reply to my cries for help with real life answers and solutions. The folks on here are GREAT!!!
Agreed.
