Hi, I have been trying to edit text columns by going into properties and then clicking on the column width or gutter. This seems to work the first time and allows me to overtype. A second attempt to edit doesn't allow this. Has anyone else found this?
Have you tried tapping the F8 key and clicking into the column of text ?
Thank you - I have given that a try. I can manually adjust the columns using the ruler bar sliders, but still cannot edit the column widths or gutters from within the column settings window. Most frustrating to have lost functionality on upgrading!!
It seems to work Ok here. You could try resetting CDR back to factory defaults by holding the F8 key down as CDR starts.
You will lose any customisation you mau have done.
Better plan is to export your workspace, then switch to the default workspace, THEN restart and hit F8. That way you preserve your customised workspace for re-use if it turns out to not be the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion. I suspect it is a bug as the column width and gutter fields on the column settings dialog are still not allowing me to double click on them to edit.
