Is there a way (or font )that writes text as a single line (hairline)? I am cutting designs on a laser cutter and want to quickly write some (vector hairline) text on the material, but all the text fonts are outlines.

I am not 100% sure but I think there are fonts out there, just for these circumstances.There is no automatic way to convert an ordinary font to a single line font, at least not in Draw.A workaround could be to convert text to bitmap and then use PowerTRACE and the Centerline option to create a single line text, but I can guarantee the result will not be what you expect.
There's a font called CNC Vector that does the job. It is basically 2 lines on top of another but usually works on CNC and various cutting machines.
