I had a download version of Corel Draw Graphic Suite 18 (DR20T22-XXXXXX-) installed and was recently warned that the license is not original or pirated. Nothing worked anymore - my printer and cutting Plotter could not print anything. I got an Amesty-Offer and bought the New License for 279,-€. After i tried tu use this license on my installed Corel product, it didn`t work.So i uninstalled it and use the download link for reinstallation. It worked until i noticed that the Mimaki CG-60SRIII Plotter didn`t output any more plotts with register marks. (in the Windows Task manager Corel was displayed as inactive and consumed mad recources...) Smaller graphics went problem free - also the other printersdo what they should. With theold installed Corel Suit everything worked fine and correct. I have reinstalled everyting sevral times with cleaning registry. Now i am at the end of my knowledge. I have a brand new Mimaki Plotter and spent al lot of money on the whole system. It was destroyed by the sanctions of corel and robbed me of much time and effort. Ask for Help!

First of all, the downloaded version you had installed initially was a trial version (DR20T) and it stops working after 30 days I think (15 with Draw 2019), so that is as expected. What kind of "sanctions of Corel" are you talking about? The licence you bough, is it a full licence (DR20R perhaps) or is some kind of crippled version without macro support? The reason I ask is because FineCut works as a macro with CorelDraw, but I get the impression that you can actually cut smaller objects and files without register marks, is that correct?FWIW, I have used FineCut for years with CorelDraw, without any problems like the ones you describe.Right now, CorelDraw 2018 with FineCut 8.7.6 on a Windows 10 machine.
I bought the DR20R60 license on Ebay. I downloaded the trial version from Corel and activated it with the license code from ebay. Everything worked and I logged everything into my account. Then I was informed 13.3. at the start of Corel Draw via PopUp window that it is an illegal copy - I could make myself liable to prosecution and my print function and save function are blocked. That's what I meant by sanctions! At the same time I got an Amesty offer to buy a Correct License for 279 € DR20R22. So I accepted this offer. And now these problems. The funny thing is that small objects work individually with fiducial marks, I duplicate these many times then the problem starts. Corel Draw goes from 0.8 to 4-6% CPU usage when clicking Finecut and is displayed as "inactive" in the task manager. Sometimes the Finecut window opens after a long wait /5-10min.and you can even continue working. This was not so before...
This picture shows 1 sticker with fiducial marks where the Finecut window opens after 10 seconds after clicking on cut.The upper one with many...stickers lasts forever or does not work at all. Please note the processor load in the Task Manager.
Not sure what is happening here but I guess there may be some kind of conflict between the old installation and the new. I see that you have properly uninstalled and cleaned up registry but I can not see any other reason it doesn't work.If CorelDraw is properly installed and FineCut also is correctly installed after CorelDraw, then there should not be any problem. It is of course also important that the plotter driver is installed correctly.I notice in your second screenshot that there is an attention triangle next to "Blattgröße einlesen", and that usually indicates that there is no contact with the plotter (may not be in "Remote" mode or the driver isn't properly installed). This in turn also makes it take significantly longer to open FineCut, often ten seconds or so.Sorry that I can not offer any more help than this.Would it be possible to post a file that is causing you problems, so I can give it a try here? You can post it here if you change the file extension (CDR) to ZIP.Regarding the sanctions you mention: Since you probably bought and installed an illegal copy (never buy software on eBay, but I guess you already know by now), Corel has to protect their investments and make sure you can not use it, and threatening to take legal actions is part of it.
Thank you for your interest and effort!I am also in Contact with Corel Support Corel also wants more info.I send 2 files- 1 a row of stickers + 2 a sheet of stickers1 lasts 3 minutes - 2 lasts forever and so you can't work!By clicking on the cutting symbol /Finecut corel goes inactive. Had a look at your files and got exactly the same problem here, and it is caused by FineCut, not Draw. After dissecting your files I found that it is definitely the relatively large amount of text that is causing this.If I convert all text to curves, FineCut opens up a lot faster. As a matter of fact, a few quick tests showed that FineCut is very slow as soon as text gets involved, and this was news to me, even though I've been using FineCut for eight years or so.But why haven't I noticed this before you may ask?The reason is that I never cut text, or if I do, it is only a few words. My files are usually built up like this:First page or pages is the layout, which may contain vector objects, text, bitmaps and various effects. The following pages are print and/or cut ready pages, where text is converted to curves and objects and effects that are difficult to print or cut, are either converted to simplified vector objects or bitmaps. The reason I do this is because I want the original objects, effects and text preserved in case I need to edit the file later (first pages), but I also want fool proof print and cut pages where I know that nothing can change "by accident", or make the printer RIP or FineCut choke. The easiest thing you can do right now is to temporarily delete "Ebene 1" before opening FineCut.It should take care of your problem. Then I suggest a more structured and simplified file creation (I noticed a bunch of empty layers for example). You already seem to have a separate layer for the cutting marks, one for the cut lines (set to non-printable), and one layer for all objects that are to be printed, that's good, but I also suggest you use groups to make it easier to find and select each sticker. But that's just me. :-)Good luck.
hello Ronny ..today I received a solution proposal from corel. They really try hard! but it didn't work.

Your solution is usable but in my opinion a software with such small files should work faster. Everything not perfected I think.will pass our conversation on to corel when I get your OK?Otherwise I work according to your tip. Thanks for that!Detlef Leche
Glad we could find a way around it.I'm pretty sure FineCut is to be blamed but it can not hurt to forward the information to Corel, in case other users experience the same problem.
