For a reason unknown to me, moving/nudging the objects with the arrow keys does not work at once. In the Options I cannot find it, if it is there? More precisely, it's regarding just one file. When I open New and try it with one rectangle, there it goes. What will it be? Is it possible to turn on /off at all?
thx for advice
Peter
In Draw 2018, the nudge distance setting is either in Options > Document >Rulers, or it can be found in Property Bar when nothing is selected.Since this is a document setting it is possible that the document where it appears not to work at all, has a very low nudge value.Lowest possible value is 0.001 millimeter in Property Bar, but I found now that it is actually possible to set it to be 0.0 in Options.Check to see if that is the case.
As Ronny notes, the "nudge" distance is a document property.
Ronny is correct, too, in noting that it is possible to set the value to zero!
...well guys, that is it. Was 0,0... I don't know why, if not changed by myself. Some Corel virus? ;-)Thanks a lot.
I have had ths issue from time to time. I ran into this issue a few days ago on cg 2020. Pretty sure it is not a virus. I had pressed some keys on my laptop to perform a task and then realized that I could no longer nudge. So pretty sure its not a virus. But certainly a good idea to scan your system. Though exactly what keystrokes I entered to create this issue I dont remember, btut it was likely something with the fn key (as I was using my laptop)
