I have a hard time selecting objects. I made a video: https://youtu.be/C4p29XfJkMII need to select the dots - but if I don't click exactly on the dot then the surrounding line is beeing selected. Is there an easier way to select the dots?(other things I tried: - I can mark the holes by starting outside of the object which should not be selected but then I will select other objects which should not be selected. - I need to replace the colour. I already used the replace function in corel... but the colour of these dots will not beeing changed by corel. (the other lines are working fine)Thanks!Roelli.
Have you tried individually Locking objects to keep them from being selected?
Yeah, thanks. Locking objects works - but it will also last some time to select all objects that needs to be locked. I was hoping that there is an easier way, like holding down a button or so, so that Corel will not select objects that are 100mm away from an object I tried to select. (when iam only like 2mm off the selected item it looks crazy to me why corel then selects an object which is 100mm away) 0:-)
If the objects that you don't want to accidentally select are not filled, then you should make sure that "Treat all objects as filled" is not active.
Whaooo! Yihaa! That works perfectly for me. Thanks so much!!! :-)
Yes, that can be very frustrating!
I put the button for "Treat all objects as filled" on a toolbar that is always visible. I can easily see the status, and can easily turn it on/off to suit my needs.
