When I install commercial v2018 on a PC where it was previously trial, setup normally starts the installation. When about 50% occurs, it throws a message that a newer version is installed on this pc and continues to click OK. At the end, he writes info about installing Visual C 2017 libraries, and then immediately the setup ends with a message about incomplete and fatal error. I removed normally the trial before, restarted the PC. What can you do about it? Is there any Corel cleaner installation in general? Did anyone meet that? I don't know what to do with it. Thanks for the possible reaction. Peter
Hi, Is Microsoft Windows fully updated? If yes, which version and bit do you have? Do you have any previous version or other Corel products installed?
well, I have fully updated Win 8.1Pro_64. No other Corel products installed here. Only that 2018 Trial and normally uninstalled...
Ok, obviously something went wrong there. Try the following;

hi ericsu....
I tried the complete procedure with the same result. Installing the retail version of CGS2018 does not work: at 47% show a message about a newer version of sw and after clicking ok reaches 100% but ends with information about the fatal error. I don't know what to do with the program, vendor as well. Corel's support is zero. Somewhere it should be an info about previous installation. Or - I remember that I installed update from v633 to v708 downloaded from oficial Corel website. Same for CGS2018 or Technical suite_trial. Maybe this reason? I wanted to try Technical instead od normal CGS. Now i know they are same...for me.
Look in c/program files/corel/ and see it there is a "CorelDraw Graphic Suite 2018" floder
If that folder is there that is the roadblock.
