Can one change the default height of Superscript? I would like it a bit lower. I know that I can select each one and manually lower it, but would like to know if one can change the default.
I am sorry to have to say that I think the answer is, "no".
When CorelDRAW uses a "synthesized" super- or subscript - where it is scaling the size of the regular character and applying a vertical character shift - then it always uses the same metrics to do so.
I would LOVE it if CorelDRAW allowed us to specify the metrics used for that, but it doesn't.
My tedious workaround for that is to not use actual super- or subscript formatting, but instead to apply a different font size and vertical shift to those characters.
Thank you, Eskimo, for your prompt response.

Yes, it is tedious, but at least there is a workaround.
Did you find it impossible to select the superscript character with the cursor? One can only select the node beneath the character with the shape tool?
I just checked. The cursor seems to work fine with Latin (left-to-right) fonts, but not with Middle Eastern (right-to-left) fonts.
