Hello!
I just got myself a graphic tablet (Wacom Cintiq). Yay!
So I am reworking the workspace.
I wonder if it is possible at all to have a toolbar be positioned as a docker? Or at the very least share the same space?
A picture say 1000 words so here's what I mean.
Thank you for reading.
I tried, and I don't see any way to get a toolbar to be positioned as a docker.
Are you familiar with "user menus"? See #5: Workspace Customization - User Menus.
If you assign a keyboard shortcut to a user menu, you can use that to make the menu pop up at the cursor location. That's a great way to have a particular set of commands "at your fingertips" without taking up space on the screen the rest of the time.
Ah! Thanks! I will look into that.
Meanwhile I have changed my mind and now I have the content specific toolbar (whatever it is called, the one that shows the properties per selected tool) adjusted and placed there in the empty space - not ideal as it isnt "snapped" into place but it works for the moment. I wanted to free vertical real estate as the tablet is hmm small on height so to say!
(coming from me used to my large 5:4 monitor with large vertical real estate)
