This.
I paid for my software. I don't want to upgrade. I cannot even afford it. I want to use my 2018 version.
I also use it together with another software that is locked to version 2018 only (that software use CorelDraw within the software itself to manage the vector part so it isn't a matter of saving in old file format) so it would just be stupid for me to upgrade.
I have tried various tricks to try to get rid of this. But everything has failed.
Please help me fix this issue once for all.
It is not nice to the paying customers to do this. Please, pretty please.
It is ok to do advertising once but we should be given the option to opt out once it has been shown once.
Please.

I've got a feeling Corel cares more and more about the money and less and less about their customers. It will come back to bite them.In the Help menu, Message Settings, try changing the "Receive updates/offers as tray notifications" setting to once a month for example.Disable the two other options if you want. Not sure this will help you get rid of these pop ups completely but they should at least be less frequent, I hope.By the way, you don't happen to be Swedish, do you?I noticed in another thread that you had a screenshot where the color palette swatches were named in Swedish.
As for the business practices, and general ignorant attitude to customers (lack of updates and bugfixes, but foremost: the incessant nagging) it has grown to irritate me more and more for every year.
It has annoyed me so much that I am looking for alternatives, but so far I haven't been pleased with any of the alternatives. Either it would be even worse than CDR. or it would be extremely barebone and lacking.
Hey, I even think that CDR is missing many of the vital things that I want to have, such as dynamic vector fill (where you actually can edit the content.. duh) and more of dynamic things overall (things that isn't "baked"), and also small things that would work better for a tablet user.
I just started using Clip Studio Paint, while it is a bitmap software it is a fantastic software that is amazing for the efficiency! I love its rotate canvas, that just let you rotate the canvas for the drawing and you would reset it and it would snap back to its original orientation. Just like when you draw on physical paper, you would rotate the paper for you to draw better in that angle.
I love Adobe Illustrator's seamless pattern generator with dynamic generation. I used the SYMMETRICAL macro (third party, pattern generator, and not the built in in CDR) but it isn't working properly on my installation. (and it was always a bit glitchy too, though much could be blamed at CDR itself too)
(many macros won't work properly due to the localization of my Windows... a vita thing: the comma/period.. :D)
This one!

Now as I googled that one I see it says it has support for 2018 so I might try to get it to work again.

The price is fair so why not give it a try.I assume you are familiar with Symmetry (Object menu) in Draw 2018, and that it cannot do what you want?
While the built in Symmetry tool is much better than the one in macro at doing the singular tile, the macro also does the tiling part to tile it into a pattern. In theory you could do it manually too but it is hard to do when you want to tile let's say a triangle (hexagon).
