Generally speaking, we can access free clipart from most applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or other standard programs. Nevertheless, we are having trouble finding if there is a free clipart library available from Corel that we can connect to from within CorelDraw or Corel PhotoPaint. If possible, we would appreciate knowing if there is and, if so, how to access it from withing CorelDraw. Thank you for any assistance.
Don't have 2018 in front of me but check the Welcome Screen, I believe there should be some stuff that can be downloaded either free or for a fee.
Thanks, Ronny. We checked and they have a lot of bundles for sale but no expansive library of free clipart like the Microsoft integrated feature for downloading online photos and clipart for non-commercial use. Appreciate your taking the time to respond.
Corel Connect was what they used to advertise the "tons of content" idea in 2018, but then after using it as a major selling point for the software, they shut it down, but without removing references to it in a lot of the media. Further, if you hadn't taken a really specific route using it, you didn't have access to lots of the things you may have used in projects after they shut it down. It's one of their better bait and switch projects.
Connect was relatively easy to use, and there was some relatively nice content in it. It was also one of the main reasons I dropped so much money on 2018,, and Corel offered no apologies nor compensations for "promised yet not delivered" merchandise.
