Find Nodes

Can one see nodes in CorelDRAW without the shape tool? I want to connect two adjacent filled objects - node to node. Is it possible to see the nodes without the shape tool on the object or hovering over the outline and chancing uopn the nodes?

  • In CorelDRAW, nodes are only visible and editable through the Shape Tool. Without selecting the Shape Tool or interacting with the object’s outline, there’s no way to display nodes. To connect two filled objects node-to-node, you must use the Shape Tool (or temporarily switch to it) to select and align the nodes precisely.

  • In CorelDRAW, nodes are only visible when you use the Shape Tool. There is no setting that lets you see nodes without it. If you are not using the Shape Tool, the nodes will stay hidden.

To connect two filled objects node to node, you need to:

    1. Select the object.

    2. Switch to the Shape Tool.

    3. Zoom in so the nodes are easy to see.

    4. Drag a node from one object to the node on the other object, or use the Join Two Nodes option.

Hovering over the outline without the Shape Tool will not reliably show nodes. The Shape Tool is required for accurate node editing and connecting objects.
