How can I fix CorelCapture. It has not worked for me since X4. Maybe not before that. The hotkey activation does not work, and says that the key is already assigned. All of the keys have this response. But I have never set the hotkeys on any program and only use Cntl c and V to copy and paste. Can anyone tell me how to get Corel Capture to work? It would be nice to have a corel utility to do this, as I hate downloading random software from the net to fix something, and possibly introduce malware into my system. I run a lot of software, from Adobe to Davinci Resolve. I have no idea which program is conflicting with which, and it seems to me that the hotkeys are not reserved by any other program. It seems Corel cannot access them. By the way, this is a Windows 7 pro setup. Thanks.
Last week bought CorelDraw 2020 Technical Suite, ... and have exactly same problem where Corel Capture advises all hotkey configurations I tried are already assigned, ... however I have Corel Video Studio 2018 installed and its "Live Screen Capture" works great with hotkey working well. ... Checked keyboard set up options including update driver, ... but no way could I get Corel Capture to work, ... am using a Lenovo T420 laptop running windows 7 pro, ... and suggestions would be greatly appreciated ? ... thanks a bunch, Paul
I switched to Windows 10, and still have the same problem with HotKeys. I then started using Lightshot and I have never looked back. It works flawlessly for me for what I want to do, which is working with graphics. But for interest, I use a lot of software as well, Davinci Resolve, Corel Draw Graphics Suite 18, Video Studio 2020, Handbrake, Adobe Indesign, Microsoft Office 2007, as well as programming tools like VisualStudioCode, GitHub, Slack, to mention a few. I also use StarDock Windows enhancements like Start10, Fences, Object desktop, plus I run several languages on Windows, English, Arabic, Greek, Hebrew etc. So the issue with hotkeys could come from any number of programs. I hope you enjoy CorelDraw 2020 Technical Suite... it looks fun but must have a seriously steep learning curve. Check out Lightshot. It sits in the background, but when I press PrnScn it activates and I can select and save any part of any of my multiple screens. Dan

I have similar feelings about Corel Capture. I don't even install it now when setting up CorelDRAW Graphics Suite.
After someone introduced me to Greenshot, I never looked back.
I have used CorelDraw from the very first version, and have always found it to be a good product and good corporation to deal with. Over the years a few of the other products they have picked up have been failures, but that should not reflect on their main product line. But it does seem strange that Corel Capture works for some of their clients, but not for all. Assigning the PrtScn button on a Windows Keyboard seems to be natural... and avoids setting HotKeys.
