Why can i not use Power Clip together with the Bevel effect? "feature request"

Dear everyone!

I am new to Corel Draw, and this is my first post on the Corel Community.

I start to create a Star shape, with a Power Clip of a nice Sea Texture, and then when i want to add a Bevel effect, the program didn't allow me to do that. so i try to flip, and too do first the Bevel and then to doo the Power Clip, but now the program didnt let me to do the Power clip, its poping up a message that i can’t do that to this kind of object.

So, My question is:

Does Corel Draw not allow to do both? or maybe it's a setting or a kind of bug?

Please help me to figger it out. [in other vector programs i fond this kinds of effects to work instantly and properly)

THANKS

  • the same thing in CorelDRAW

Ok, thanks, thats a great idea. (and a liitel hard to do every time we wan't to do this kind of effect, so its not "the same thing")

    But:

    • this is not the only effect i request here for (don't worry, i learnd the program well, and by now i know almost every think we can do in Draw)
    • and also for that, we need a more instant way, like in all other aplications.

Sir, please understand: this is now a "feature request" (a prime request, take a look in "Affinity Designer" or in "Illustrator" to see that we dont have to do your idea every time we want to creata a nice effect).

I repeat, the effects of glow, shadows and bevel/emboss have long been available in CorelDraw

I will repeat, I did'n say that thare is no Effects in Corel Draw... but thay are just very limitit and not productive acording to all other 2018-2019 graphic aplications. (and a lot of them are only available for Bitmap - take a look in "Affinity Designer" or in "Illustrator"  to understand what i meen).
