Dear everyone!
I am new to Corel Draw, and this is my first post on the Corel Community.
I start to create a Star shape, with a Power Clip of a nice Sea Texture, and then when i want to add a Bevel effect, the program didn't allow me to do that. so i try to flip, and too do first the Bevel and then to doo the Power Clip, but now the program didnt let me to do the Power clip, its poping up a message that i can’t do that to this kind of object.
So, My question is:
Does Corel Draw not allow to do both? or maybe it's a setting or a kind of bug?
Please help me to figger it out. [in other vector programs i fond this kinds of effects to work instantly and properly)
THANKS

No sorry, Draw doesn't allow beveled objects to be used as powerclip containers.Probably because the bevel effect is in fact a bitmap effect.
A Bitmap effect?!
Corel Draw is for vecor or for Bitmaps? (not Photo Paint is for bitmaps?)
Sir, if this is true, is it a big limitation for a vector graphic program.
These kind of bevels are not vectors in any program.Problem is that depending on underlying code, it may or may not be possible to add bevel to all objects, and unfortunately it isn't possible in Draw with for example a Powerclip.Affinity Designer can do it and is a great program in many ways, but I suppose you want to do more than beveled stars and you will probably find a lot of other limitations in Designer too, or in any other software for that matter.
