Hi. We have recently switched to the cloud and will be running 2018 in the next few weeks. I purchased a macro from Oberon CurveWorks about 4 years ago and it has become a integral part of our landscape because of its capability to give accurate perimeter areas by just clicking on a object.
Does anyone know if this macro will work with 2018 ?.... I suspect no but if anyone knows who I can contact about this it would be greatly appreciated.
Most parts of the CurveWorks macro are now integrated in Draw, but unfortunately not the Curve Statistics part.I suggest you try to contact Alex Vakulenko who wrote it.He actually worked for Corel for a number of years but I'm not sure how to contact him now, but I think it should be possible to find his email address somewhere.First of all, have you tried it in 2018 yet?
I've tried to contract Shelby M whom I'm told is a good friend of Alex's but she hasn't responded to my email.
I haven't downloaded 2018 yet as I'm buried under paper work and trying to get caught up. One of my guys is running 2018 and I asked him to try and install the .exe but when you get to the last step its just shown X7 gms folder. He has both on his system as we are having issues with a lot of macros we used in the past will not work with 2018...…..nightmare.
I will get my i.t. to load 2018 onto my computer sometime in the next few days but I'm going to have him fully uninstall X7 before he does that. I'm wondering if that is the issue altogether but then again.....when I purchased Curveworks it totally was for X7 only.
thanks for the reply Ronny. Much appreciated.
