Hi
Just downloaded the new 2019 version. Looks very promising. One thing though, the workscreen background colour is cream.; how do I get it back to white?
Thanks Colin
I have exactly the same problem. I set the desktop background to white and it shows up as pale yellow or cream. Where are the settings you are talking about saving? I have tried Tools / Options / Customisation/ Appearance. When I set White in there I get yellow. If I set red I get red.
Perhaps more importantly, CorelDRAW also seems to be adding a yellow tint to all white areas in my graphic. They print OK as white.
What am I missing?
David
I wish I could enlighten you. David Milistock very kindly sorted the problem for me by remotely going through my computer. It's got a lot to do with colour management, an embarrassing amount way beyond my pay grade! It appears to have had a lot to do with my monitor as when I loaded CDr2019 onto my laptop there was no issue. I wish I could be more help. Best to ask the experts.
Thanks Colin for the reply. I don't think it is the monitor as it is only affecting CorelDRAW. I am using a three monitor setup and it looks wrong on all monitors, in fact it looks exactly the same.
I have raised a ticket with Corel, so fingers crossed.
If I was you I'd re- raise the question in the 2019 forum. From experience you'd be far better off to re-attract the attention of the expertise of actual users than the Corel support people. I've always found the forum users to be incredible helpful and generous in their time; something, alas, I can't say for the official support people of late..
