Hi,
I have both CDGS2018 and CDGS 2019 installed on the same computer. When I am on Coreldraw2018, and I try to edit a bitmap image it now opens Corel Photopaint 2019 instead of the 2018 version of photopaint like it used to. How or what can I do to change this so that when I am in Coreldraw2018, editing a bitmap image opens Photopaint 2018 not Photopiaint 2019? Would appreciate thoughts, tips, suggestions...
I am not ready to move up to CDGS2019 yet and give up my CDGS2018 altogether.
Thks,
huh?
Run the install for 2018 when asked select repair.
This will set PP2018 as the default photo editor, it will also open PP2018 in CD2019.
Boomhauer,
Thanks for your suggestion. However, I only want the CD2018 to use PP2018. I want CD2019 TO USE PP2019 as its default photo editor. Any other settings that can be tweaked in CD2018 so effect is limited to this version?
Rgds,
No. It's a global setting in the registry that affects all CDGS installs.
Thanks. That is sad. Esp ifthe previous version is more stable than the current version.
It's not sad. Windows will use the latest version installed. That means, if you install 2019 first and 2017 later, Windows will associate files to 2017.
Ariel,
I guess so.
