is it really not possible to deactivate/disable Windows fonts in Font Manager 2018 temporarily (not deinstalling?)
Background: maybe some fonts causes problems and I want to figure out which font this could be – but without de- & reinstalling fonts.
Why not uninstall the font? I couldn't imagine the difference between disable a font and uninstall it.
It was my "mistake"...
Thought, after adding all fonts into a collection it would be "safe" to uninstall it – if just disabling instead uninstalling is really not possible. But after I uninstalled some fonts they disappeared from the collection. Therefore it would have been very time-consuming to reinstall the fonts (I have different locations for different font(s / collections)).
But my "mistake" was: I had set up a filter before for showing installed fonts...
In short: the feature font collection (which I haven't used before) is my friend ;-)
Thank you, my friend – Ariel! :-)
