A long time ago I had a macro that could do this but I don't have a version that works with 2018.
Does anyone have this updated macro?

it is quite possible that you are trying to run a macro in 64-bit version. 7 years ago I was developing a similar macro.
here is gifs
Some day I'll try to rewrite declarations of API-functions (with LongPtr and LongLong) and redo macro for 64-bit versions (:
I keep having weird issues still. It works sometimes and other times it half works. When I say 'half' I mean the psd file is created and saved in the c:\Temp folder but PS does not always open. If I manually open the psd and make edits, then go to CDR and hit the update macro it will update the image per my edits.
I have the same problem. PS does not always open. Only after I open psd and make changes, then go to CDR and hit refresh macro, will it refresh the image. Maybe there are alternatives to Photoshop?
I dropped Photoshop years ago, I use Photo-PAINT, PaintShop Pro and AftetShot Pro.
I recently started using Movavi Picverse, which I really liked because of its simplicity and functionality. You can click to read more and find out more information about the functionality of this photo editor. I like this photo editor because I found advanced photo retouching in it. I can instantly enhance a portrait and remove blemishes, apply cool makeup or create the perfect smile.
My advice is to stay away from gaming systems, Intel has worked best for me and I avoid laptops due to the cost of buying real horsepower.
I augment Photo-PAINT with PaintShop Pro for the additional filters in that program. You have to coordinate the color management in PSP to match PP.
AfterShot Pro 3 is an above average RAW converter and rounds out my image editing package.
