How come I get "This file is version 20.0" error message when I only have Corel X7 and have only used X7 to make my files?

Ive only ever used CorelDraw Suite X7 Student version.

I installed my X7 suite and transferred my files to my new computer and when I try to open my files I get "This file is version 20.0. You must upgrade your program to open this file"?

But even File Explorer shows the files as "X7 Graphic"?

What's going on?

    Windows Explorer shows the file as "X7 Graphic" because you have associated the CDR extension with CorelDRAW X7, Windows doesn't read what file version it actually is.
    But I have no idea why it says version 2020 when you try to open it if you have saved from X7, it should be technically impossible.
