We have recently upgraded CorelDraw 2019 (Version 21) and this has been a very disappointing time the previous version was great and although there are new products to check out here from a business point of view this upgrade has been terrible.
We also downloaded the improvement software patches that apparently fixed the issue of the application freezing and going into a 'not responding' state before shutting down. This is still happening so often it's hard to keep track of the amount times it happens during the working day. We are pretty unhappy with this as it's shutting down so often it's making our workload suffer.
We have tried the usual closing down and restarting but this does not help. 'Super Frustrating'
Will there be anymore updates coming to improve this ?

Yes, I understand you perfectly, but perhaps the first point would be to try to find out the cause. I do not try to defend the program or say that there are no problems, but try to determine the cause to find a solution. Although generically we say that "it is a program failure" the causes can be very diverse, not all users have the same problems.
As an example, the biggest complaint I have about the 2019 version is that I find it slow with the text, but interestingly, other users have told me that that is precisely what works best for them, since they notice that the 2019 version is faster with the text for them
In relation to stability, over the years I have noticed that it is directly related to Windows Virtual Memory (the swap file, where Windows stores temporary files). If you let Windows manage Virtual Memory, it usually starts with a very small number and increases as you need more space. And CorelDRAW requires a lot of space to work. Each time Windows must expand Virtual Memory, it stops the program that needs it. They are usually fractions of seconds, but as it requires more space Windows will take longer and longer. If you try to access CorelDRAW at that time, Windows will prevent it and the program will close.
Some people have configured to use 1 Gb or 2 Gb of minimum initial space, which is clearly insignificant at present. I always advise to establish a minimum space of 20 GB or 30 GB at least, so as to prevent Windows from stopping the program every time it consumes memory. And establish a larger space if possible, hard drives are much larger but have dropped a lot in price and also a secondary disk can be used as an alternative.
I cannot assure you that it is the solution to your problem specifically, but it will certainly not harm you and it is a beneficial advice for everyone. At least it must provide greater stability. Of course, the usual tips (manual cleaning of temporary files, reducing installed fonts to less than 400, etc.) are still valid, I am not inventing anything new.

Thank you so much for taking the time to not only reply but a also providing a detailed response.
I understand about the storage space and it's a good place to start. I have checked and we have plenty of space. My issues seem to start when I'm importing an image from the desktop to convert that image to black and white then outline trace it. Once this is done the system tends to freeze then it shuts down. It also happens when typesetting information using different fonts there could be 5 lines of text and it can happen also looking for fonts in the system we have quite a few for different jobs so when looking for a particular font style the system can freeze and shut down.
I didn't experience this at all on the previous version so I don't know why this is happening now. CorelDraw has been a fantastic graphics suite I've been a keen user since Draw10 so I love this system.
I will have another good look at the storage of the Corel files on the system in case they are taking to much space and report back if I still experience the same problem.

Wayne, given that fonts are involved in some of these, have you tried resetting your font database? It's a standard debugging trick - start up Font Manager with F8 down, then select both options.....

Yes, unfortunatey usually there's not enough information about this. Most people said "I have a lot of free space on my hard disk, more than 200 Gb free". But they don't know how much is really used by Windows as swap file, then sometimes Windows is using only 1 Gb, or even less (sometimes, it starts on 16 Mb) And of course, it's enough an small document to cause problems.
