I have been running into an issue lately where the contents of tables is going nuts on me if I try to move, or even copy and paste the table. I just want to move it over a little, and the text gets all huge and disfigured. THIS: turns into THIS: .
And undo won't fix it. The text cannot be fixed. Text was entered as a straight table, so I don't get it.
What's happening?
P.S. Not new to CorelDraw, been using it since 1989 Ver, 2
Sad that I can't figure this out by myself.
Apart from Breaking the whole table, try placing a rectangle behind the table and grouping them together. BTW this is a complete shot in the dark.
Good Luck
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried, no joy. The table function has completely broken down in X9. Some behave, and some do this even though they are constructed exactly the same way. I finally gave up and placed an Excel table in as an object. That, at least, still acts like a table when I need to update it. I don't link it though, because too many people have access (work issue) and files get moved. So object it is. I still wish I knew WHY, though.
Have you reset Corel back to factory defaults?
Hold down the F8 key as Corel starts.
You will lose any customisation you have.

simple, you are using the buggy coreldraw program
I've reset several times, and things go well for a while, but bug up again. I save my workspace often just for this occurrence.
