Please help. I scan kids line drawings into corel as jpegs, then use trace bitmap to remove background, etc. I can then thicken the objects with the line tool to suit, but some drawings lines are too heavy. How can I reduce the weight of these line drawings? I feel it has to be an easy fix but it escapes me.
Thanks in advance
Audrey
It sounds like the only way to do what you are trying to do is adjusting the nodes with shape tool.
Thank you for replying.
Would that allow me to reduce the line thickness evenly across the whole object or adjust each individual line. I am not familiar with the shape tool yet.
I was wondering about an inside contour but don't know if that is even possible or how to do it.
That is a possibility as well; but without seeing the design it's hard to know. Maybe you can post an example here. I have version 2017

That is going to depend in part on the content, and how you traced it, and what the results of the trace were.
If what you are referring to as "drawing lines" are really closed curves, that will limit how "thin" you can make them. They will still have some "thickness" even if they have no outline.
Audrey34Adding an outline with the same color as the surrounding filled area will make the "line" look thinner.Unfortunately you will only get the desired result under certain circumstances. All surrounded areas must have the same color for example.
