Hi Zafer,
Which OS are you using and is it 32 or 64-bit?
Win 10 64 bit. I created a new windows install on a different drive and it worked there so unless I can find a solution, I’m going to open and backdate my files and stay with 2018 for a while.
So I see from other threads that you have been using CDGS 2019 for a while before this error appeared. Can you share additional information of what you think may have changed on your system (the before and after)?
We identified this error in CDGS2019 on very specific flavor of OS that does not have Media Player package installed or with missing files related to that.
My mistake. I had it on my laptop problem free but when the laptop played up I moved to the desktop and it has never worked.
Ok, so do you have a particular version of Windows 10?
Windows 10 pro n
When I created a fresh copy of windows, I did all the updates and then proceeded to install. Just before that, I checked installed programs and Visual c+ 2017 was not there (no other version either) and the 2017 was created during the 2019 installation. I tried recreating that on the operating system with the problem but that didn’t work either.
The issue:
Unable to load VGCore. Error Code : 126 or Unable to load PhotoPaintCore.dll. Error Code : 126
occurs in Windows 10 "N" Edition and Windows Server 2012 R2. Corel is aware of the situation and has a fix which will be made available soon.
Note:
Windows 10 N editions are specifically designed for Europe and Switzerland to comply with the European law. The N stands for Not with Media Player and does not come with Windows Media Player pre-installed.The N and KN editions of Windows 10 include the same functionality as Windows 10, except for media-related technologies (Windows Media Player) and certain preinstalled media apps (Music, Video, Voice Recorder, and Skype). You must install other software from Microsoft or another company for this communication functionality and to play or create audio CDs, media files, and video DVDs, to stream music, and to take and store pictures. New features such as Cortana, Windows Hello, and PDF viewing in the new Edge browser rely on Windows Media files that are not present in these editions.
Regards,
Eric
Are you saying installing media player is a solution?
