is any one else having this happen?
i have bitmaps (admittedly imported photoshop files, not Corel Paint) that the merge mode is set to 'Multiply'.
if i switch to wireframe mode and do some work, when i return to 'enhanced' the bitmaps have lost the multiply setting and revert to 'Normal'
this even happens on layers that are locked.
i have never had this happen with previous versions.

What type of file format are you importing? What exactly do you mean by merge mode?
as mentioned before, mostly photoshop files. i realize psd files are not native, but i have never had this problem before.
in coreldraw, merge mode is set in the transparency toolbar. similar to PS's 'multiply' or 'color burn'
So you're importing images that have transparency? I know there is an issue with grayscale JPG files and wireframe viewing, once you select wireframe the grayscale jpg is destroyed. There is not a merge mode in the importing process for images though, they simply import, place and then apply transparency. On my system I can import a layered PSD file or a multi object CPT file with transparency, go to wireframe view and back to enhanced with no issues.
then it must be just my system. yes, they are grayscale, they are psd files, but i have never had this problem before. i guess i will have to quadruple the size of the files by changing them to RGB and see if that works.
if they're grayscale it most likely does not matter that they are PSD files. The grayscale is most likely the trigger
