In Draw 2019, when I save a custom page size, the new size subsequently appears in the available page sizes list, but none of the page size's properties - height, width, or resolution - appears with it. So, the custom page size has the name I gave it, but retains the default page size's properties, which, of course, renders the saved page size useless. In Draw X8, a saved page's properties as well as its name are in effect immediately upon selection of the size. Any ideas?
[In case it matters, I have not imported any workspaces into Draw 2019. The few changes I've made have been made to the default workspace.]
If you would like to create custom presets including resolution and color settings etc. would be to create the preset through the "create new document" dialogue. This will save all settings. Creating the custom page size through Layout/Document options dialogue will only save the page size. The page size presets is sectioned off in that dialogue to show that it will only save the page size.
Thanks for the feedback, cpic.
In my tests with Draw 2019, saving a page size via Layout/Document Options doesn't even save the page size; it only saves the name of the page size. In previous versions of Draw, however, when I saved a page size through that method, all defined aspects of the page size were saved, and were available if I wanted to change the page size of the current document. That is no longer the case.
I've just successfully created the custom pages I need via the New Document box, so now my custom pages are available. But those custom pages do NOT show up in the list of available pages sizes when I navigate to Layout/Page Size... which means I have to enter the specs for the page size if I want to change those of an existing page to one of the page sizes created by the New Document dialog box. It seems to me, that's still a bug. Am I wrong about that?
