Didn't get a notice but saw that the second update was posted today on the Corel site. Installed, but haven't had a chance to check anything.
Just FYI :-)
There was one thing in the update that might be of use for me which is applying transparency to non destructible effects. Sounded great on paper, in practice you can change tranparency level but can't change blending mode (it works only with "normal" and behaves the same if changed to any other mode), wich makes it useless, at least for me.
Sorry, I can't seem to reproduce what you're describing. Can you elaborate a little more? When you say non-destructible effects...do you mean on a bitmap object, like a blur or anything else?
OK, I've tried something...I think it also resulted as a bug.I created a group of vector objects, all with the same color gradient. Then I applied a transparency to it.This group is now converted to...I don't know what, but connot be ungrouped. It has become one strange object...
A little more info please. How did you create the transparency. RGB, CMYK, spot color? I tired the steps with the interactive transparency tool with no issue in RGB.
What kind of transparency? Uniform, gradient?
Sorry, I was gonne camping! ;-)The transparency I add is gradient. Strangely I re-tried these steps this morning. The bug doesn't always occur... I'll have to try to point out the reason.I'll be back!! LOL
I tried gradient with nonissue. But I have one of those did it once issues I'm tracking down also. Maybe just operator error who knows. Good luck
