More of a complaint but why spam us with constant $199 upgrade ads within the program for a super buggy program that crashes and locks up all of the time?
the key is to now why or when it crashes, in order to solve it... could you rovide more details? for example, how did you configure the virtual memory?
And yet again the end-user is the beta tester. Most of us have no idea about virtual memory allocations and in-depth stuff like that. One thing we DO know? We have deadlines!
Of course you should know about this! It's nothing new, that was the same since past century. I still remember people who complain about a warning called CARM (Corel Application Recovery Manager) and some people believe that this utility CAUSE the crash instead. But the most common reason of the CARM was the small amount of vrtual memory and system resources. Increasing the virtual memory of Windows solves the problem, and avoid the hateful CARM.
I don't know if this the reason on this situation, since I have not enough data. But it was a helpful solution for a lot of users along the years. I just try to help
Outboxed, for the first time in 20 years I'm running 2 versions on my work station, that way I can test 2019 but fall back to 2018 when needed, which one never knows when that can happen with 2019.
I'm very careful to install to custom folders but this is extreme for me as running to versions on the same system has never been a good idea.
