How do I combine lines into a polygon?

In Corel Draw 2019, I want to take these 4 lines and combine them (at their nodes) to make an enclosed polygon that can be filled with a color. In older Corel, I would use "Convert to Curves" and then "Join Curves" -- but that's not working. Any advice?

  • use "snap to object" (alt+z) select a shape and grab it from one of the end nodes, drag the shape until it snaps to the corresponding node. Once you have all the line segments in place select them all and weld them together then marquee select the intersecting nodes and make them as one.by "joining" them
