I work with Coreldraw 8-12 hours every day (for the last 27 years). Since I installed Coreldraw 2019 the problems have been more than any previous version. For example; every time I select an object and then open the Fill Properties docker, Coreldraw disappears. I am used to typing Ctrl + S after every move, and definitely before I open Fill Properties. To change the color of an object I have to restart the application! I look every day for updates from Corel but it is futile. The situation is hopeless.
Is Corel reading these posts?
Windows 10 Pro on HP Z640 with Intel Xeon CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz, 2 processors, 16MB RAM, 64 bit
David will be along in a bit to tell you its because you're using Xeon processors. (I am too, have been for a decade or more)
Which is complete bollocks BTW
Aristides 2019 is a mess and that's a fact, display issues are very serious combined with the MANY other issues and the new keep desktop objects on layer feature being on by default make the program nearly useless .
Can I ask what video card you're using? Xeon systems with AMD video low or very high end video systems of any make seem to have repeatable issues. Gamers systems do not do well with CorelDRAW.
Hywel is correct I've been tracking Xeon and AMD systems for many years and currently with this release the only systems experiencing the level of failures you're describing have been MAC and PC AMD systems and two other PC Xeon systems. Very view users can afford a MAC with Xeon processors and in any case they use AMD video cards.
Hywell from my experience you giving advice on computers is like Donald Trump giving advice on political correctness. :-)
Thank you David,
my video card is NVIDIA Quadro K4000.
No problem there, I run an old Quadro FX380 or somesuch. Slow but very few problems with it.
