Hi guys! When in WIREFRAME view... My Corel's slow!!! It slows down to a point I hear my computer fan accelerating demanding more power from my processor!!!Does this happen to any of you?
Curious, being a avid user of CorelDRAW, do you regret moving to v2019 or do you find it just fine as before and worth the "upgrade" or "downgrade"?
Hi,I'm a subscriber. I 'rent' CorelDRAW at 210.00$ CAD every year. I always get all the updates and many other candies.I don't regret 2019. BUT...there are still a lot of bugs I wish would have been taken care of.Many other existing programs tend to sell this new vision. Subscription. That way, you can always have the latest version corrected or not. New versions are often more compatible with other programs and updated Windows.Corel has now gone for the new version every year thing. So, I think they'll end up never properly updating their versions. They'll simply finish correcting the issues for the every following versions coming up.Even after 2 major updates of 2019. A lot of bugs still remain. ANNOYING BUGS wich worked perfectly in 2018. Go figure...Other than that, issues corrected in update 2 make it more stable and more performant (besides the strange slowing down in wireframe view).
Personaly, If I wasn't a subscriber, I'd wait every 3 or even 4 versions before upgrading. The lack of new features aren't worth buying every new version. Instead of focusing on new exiting features, they mostly focus on trying to make the workspace better, playing around with the buttons, transforming dialog boxes, etc. The same bitmap effects, 3D extrude, name 'em, exist since CorelDRAW 8! That's 22 years ago!Users in these forums keep coming up with great new ideas they think of or see from other programs. I think they should listen to their loyal clients. When the dialog boxes work fine, don't touch them anymore! Simply add in new features! There was a time when Corel used to set the pace in the digital designing world... Sadly, it ain't the case anymore.
