Hi
long time Coreldraw user, slightly dismayed by the 2019 release...
In previous versions I could use the effects/transform/invert colour option on a vector object to quickly generate required objects. Now when I use this option in 2019, the object gets transformed and the edges are blurred as though it is converted to a bitmap. After this I can no longer change its colour etc. the final outputs are blurred too. I need to retain the vector objects
how do I get it to work as older versions?

If "Invert Colors" turns vectors to bitmap and it is ok for you then you should turned off "Antiailas bitmap in enhanced view" option for to see sharp pixels bitmaps.
It's a strange behavior, Kursad. The group of objects converts itself automatically to a screen resolution fake bitmap then nothing but effects can be applied to it. It also cannot be ungrouped!!! It's, in a way, condemmed to be grouped!! LOL The only way to ungroup it is to remove all applied effects in it's history of effects in the appropriate docker, then you turn it back to its original state. Then again, I'm not sure this works. It's strange because the BITMAP EFFECTS are now undestructive. But the a group of vector objects. Why does CorelDRAW covert a group of VECTOR objects to a fake bitmap???
Vector ability effects should not convert objects to bitmaps. But there is an interesting behaviour as you say.
Thanks everyone for the replies. None are great to be honest and I think its pretty poor behaviour for my workflow, but as usual we'll find a workaround and live with it. sigh.
as for it being expected behaviour, perhaps I missed something. where is the docker which would allow this to be rolled back?

You can see - and remove - non-destructive effects in the "fx" tab of the Properties docker:
thanks!
