I apologize if this is old school or has been covered elsewhere. I have many fonts installed in my Windows font folder, but I am unable to access any of them through CorelDraw 2019. If anyone can provide steps for me on how I can access my desired fonts, please be kind and share.
TIA
Hi Teri,Here's a shot in the dark...When you drop down the list of fonts, have you tried clicking on the very little funnel logo on the top right corner of the menu? You'll notice a variety of options to choose from for you to customize your list.
Thanks for that idea. I tried and still all the fonts in my font folder do not show available to me in Font manager. BTW - I did a repair of Corel Suite in Control panel and it didn't change anything. here is an image I sent to Corel (they have yet to help) that shows a snippet of my Font Folder with red underlined fonts that do not appear in my Font Manager.
Did you try try F8 reset of Font Manager after the repair?
I did try. When I close all Corel apps and hold down F8, then open FM, it never opens. Very strange. The large blue circular Font Manager app image opens in center of desktop, and sits there says loading but never opens. When I try to close it will not go away. I hover over the FM icon in bottom taskbar and very small is the 2 question option to reset the font index, but it is very small and I cannot enlarge. the only way to escape is CTRL+Alt+Del and end task.
I just bought 2019 in July so this should not be an issue.
Very odd.....
My only suggestion is a full clear-out and re-install ( remember to do this while on-line so install count is updated).
Make sure you've got your install key, and have downloaded installer and Updates 1&2.
Remove CGS via Control Panel and also Corel Windows Shell extension.
Reboot.
Run ccleaner to check registry entries.
Reboot
Re-install, install updates, then start FM with F8
If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas.
