Not only 2019 is crashy, same with all old versions.
For me, 2018 with its updates, was almost flawless. By far, the best version I've used.
We skipped 2018 in hopes that 2019 would have been just as good as 2017... that being said, X7 is still our flawless go to.
I'm a subsriber. So I always try all the latest versions. Everytime the latest version comes out...EVERYTIIME... Bugs! Never a new version came out with no bugs... Not a single time. But usually with one or two update packs, the problems are mostly or all solved. 2017, weren't all solved but worked great. And 2018. Right on. For me, and the tools I worked with... All perfect. Fast, stable... the best. But heck, I can't reinstall it. Windows doesn't want it anymore. I'd have to reformat the computer. ---------------------------------I have a feeling, Corel and I'd tend to say other companies as well, programs come out with problems to try to slow down piracy. These 'pirates' download new versions of programs (defective because they're new versions). Now, more than ever, to update, we have to be connected or subscribed in some way. So these pirates, not being legal subsribers, end up working with defective programs... What do you think?Problem is, we end up being penalized for these crooks. Just sayin'

I have never seen any evidence of "deliberate bugs to fight piracy". That doesn't mean it does not exist; I just haven't seen any evidence to cause me to think that is being done.
In comparison, it's very easy for me to believe that:
I suspect that, in some cases, the decision is that it is more profitable to not fix some bugs.
As a user, that makes me crazy, but, there it is...

TetroDesign • Stephan Tetreault Curious, off the top of your head, what were those major bugs... I want to try to recreate them as I haven't stumbled across them yet in 2017.
In my case, they've correct the PDF export dialog box wich didn't save any presets. Couldn't create presets, etc... Uncostumizable, wich it has always with EVERY other version even buggy ones! The transformation docker had issues, wich were also resolved, and a lot of other stuff... But still a lot of issues remain...
