If anyone is interested in getting rid of those disgusting Corel popup ads, after 2 days of going round and round with Corel tech support,
this seems to be the fix. I have tried it and it is working so far.

Watch out people... that link, even if it means well, will modify your REGISTRY!
Here are its contents:
According to Corel tech support, that's the only way to rid the Spam. And you are correct, it adjusts the Corel section of the Windows registry to eliminate the spam attack.
Every piece of software that you install, or uninstall, modifies your registry.
I know, just wanted other users to know in case they did not know.
When you click the link, it pops up as if it may be a virus or something...and if something modifies the registry, that could be just as bad to some.
Either way, thanks for the solution and know you mean well... just want to help others head this off in case it freaked them out.
; )
Yes, what is up with these pop up in WINDOWS now? it's one thing when exiting CorelDraw etc, but when it isn't even opened, we;;, that's another thing. These large companies think they can just do whatever they please anymore... i.e. Comcast / Xfinity Cable. I remember when you PAID for CABLE so you didn't get commercials...well... that's what you get these days. So the same thing here is happening at the OS level now. What BS.
