Why of why oh why is it necessary after clicking an object in the objects menu to then have to go over to the selection tool and click it again?
Click an object in the Layers menu and then try to nudge and it just goes to the next object.
AND
In the line weight menu, if a line weight is highlighted it should be selected and shouldn't need to be
're-selected to change it. Simple stuff...
Yes, it is a nuisance! But, try pressing the spacebar and nudge (arrow keys) at the same time when you select an object in the layers window.
That's an interesting observation, Mike.
I don't think that the keys have to be pressed at the same time. Pressing the spacebar once seems to get the focus back to the drawing area, rather than in the Objects docker.
That trick does not work for me in CorelDRAW 2018.
In 2018, it works for me to have a VBA macro that has in it ActiveWindow.Activate. If I assign a keyboard shortcut to that, it gives me a way to get the focus back to the drawing area.
Interesting Eskimo indeed. I always just held the spacebar down and nudged, but yes, you don't need to hold, just press once. Either way, it is a workaround.
